The Fourth of July is here and arguably there's no better place to celebrate America's independence than at the nation's capital, Washington D.C.

So without further ado, here are some of the best spots to enjoy the fireworks and the parade during the United States' Independence Day

West Lawn - The U.S. Capitol
PBS will again cover this year's 'A Capital Fourth' on the West Lawn of the U.S Capitol. The show will welcome back two-time Emmy Award-winning host Tom Bergeron while American music legend Barry Manilow will have a special performance on stage. The National Symphony Orchestra is also set to perform and expected to cap the show with their rendition of Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture."

The National Mall
The National Mall is another ideal spot to watch fireworks. With thousands of patriots expected to gather in the area, this place will certainly provide a great feel of the celebration.

Steps of Lincoln Memorial and Gravelly Point
There's no place in Washington that gives a closer look at the fireworks than Lincoln Memorial. However, this area is also expected to be crowded, so getting there early is a must. If luck proves tough, the Gravelly Point is another spot that gives breathtaking view of the fireworks.

The Parade
The National Independence Day Parade will take place along the Constitutional Avenue and 7th Street NW, showcasing 300 magnificent float, bands, and military units.
