Two of the most awaited phones from HTC are the One M10 and the One X9.
How do these two differ from one another and which is better?
Design
Android Pit said the HTC One X9 will come with a plastic body, but with metal accents. The company is believed to do away with the expensive metal unibody for this phone.
Meanwhile, HTCOneM10 said that the M10 is expected to have a "great high-end design" like other HTC phones, although it did not give details as to what it would look and feel like.
Specifications
It was added in the Android Pit report that the HTC One X9 will come with a Snapdragon 820 processor, 5-inch QHD display, 23 MP camera, 3,500 mAh battery, 4 GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage options.
The M10 will not fail to surprise customers, as Yibada said that it will have a 5-inch screen with 4K display, 2TB external storage via microSD slot, 4GB of RAM, dual SIM support and wireless charging feature.
This charging technology is said to be best for heavy users who are on the go and who always rely on their smartphones to do daily tasks like browsing, typing or playing games.
Aside from this, a separate Android Pit report added that the M10 will also have an enhanced autofocus technology for its camera and a USB Type-C support.
Users are also looking forward to a fingerprint scanner from this device since the HTC One Max and the M9 Plus already have this feature.
"The M9+ and the A9 are both very fast to unlock, and we wouldn't really want a new phone without a fingerprint scanner for payment and security," added Pocketlint.
Release Date
According to Ecumenical News, the One X9 is set to be released during the first quarter of next year, while the M10 is believed to come out right after the first handset.
"HTC One M10 will be released two to three months after the One X9. This would put it in line for a spring launch, in order to have a reasonable gap between the two devices," added the same report.
Price
As for the price, the HTC One X9 is said to have a price tag of $499.99, while the M10 is expected to cost around $700.
Android Pit said people expected that the prices of both phones should have been lower than these suggestions.
When they become available on the market, HTC fans will surely want to grab one of these powerful additions to the company's line of mobile phones.
