Selena Gomez's love life has been one of Hollywood's favorite topics of discussion for the past few weeks. Rumors of a possible reconciliation between the 'Same Old Love' singer and her ex, Justin Bieber, was a hit on social media. Gomez was also rumored to be dating former One Direction member, Zayn Malik.

Gomez has spent a good part of 2015 claiming her independence and focusing on her music. She and Justin had officially split in 2014 after dating on and off for three years. While the relationship was rocky at best, both Bieber and Gomez admitted that it was hard to move on from each other.

Justin, who appeared in a recent interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," said that he had nothing but respect for his ex and that while there was a possibility of a reconciliation for them someday, he admitted that he was open to the possibility of he and Selena moving on and finding better people to be with.

The "Good For You" singer has been on a roll this year, having found a new sense of independence. She recently appeared in a cover shoot with In Style UK. The singer admitted that she was dating people, although she did not mention any names. Gomez admitted that she found dating to be weird and that the dating app, Tinder, scared her and that it was something that she wouldn't use, reports Billboard.

In Style UK also takes a stab at Gomez's dating life. The former Disney star admitted that getting back into the dating scene was something that she knew she eventually had to do. She also added that she hated dating in particular because the very thought of having someone Google one's entire existence already weirded her out.

Gomez admits that her having a "baby face" had its disadvantages at times as she would love to date older men. She also says that she and her best friend, Taylor Swift, are each other's support group. She told the magazine that she counsels the "Blank Space" singer in the boyfriend department, while Swift taught her how to turn her mistakes into something great.

Selena was also asked whether or not she would consider dating former One Direction Member, Zayn Malik as the heartthrob recently split from his fiancee, Perrie Edwards. Gomez gave a vague answer saying that should Zayn ask her out on a date, she would definitely go out with him. To which she added, "Just kidding, but not kidding."
