When Ted Mosby from "How I Met Your Mother" accidentally got a tramp stamp, viewers learned that it takes very painful laser sessions to get a tattoo off your skin.
Kaley Cuoco is having none of that because who wants to go through the painful process of tattoo removal after an already painful divorce, anyway?
Instead, she just had a tattoo of her wedding date in Roman numerals -- XII XXXI XIII -- covered up with a bigger one - a moth, or a butterfly, whatever you think it to be (more like a moth).
Kaley posted a photo of herself on Instagram while she was getting her new ink done. She captioned the photo, "Thank you @nero_sct @studiocitytattoo for helping me right my wrongs.. note to self - do not mark your body with any future wedding dates ... #under30mistakes #donttakeyourselftooseriouslykids."
Later, the 29-year-old "The Big Bang Theory" actress kept things light when she posted a shot of the finished work, which looked like a moth or a butterfly (who knows, really), which she captioned, "the deep, meaningful, larger than life meaning behind this beautiful piece of ink, is..... It covered the last one."
TMZ reported that the ink which supposedly commemorated her wedding date was covered in an hour for about $150. However, there was no word whether or not Ryan Sweeting, Kaley's ex-husband, amended his similar tattoo, or the "Kaley" one on his forearm.
Kaley and Ryan wed in 2013 after a whirlwind 3-month romance. The Daily Mail noted that she reportedly ended their marriage because Ryan was allegedly "addicted to painkillers" and refused to seek help for his problem. An insider shared that "She supported him but she said he couldn't make the commitment to get sober."
Kaley then deleted all traces of Ryan after news of their split came out by cleaning up her Instagram and by unfollowing him across social media platforms. She also dropped his last name, which she went by in the 22 months that they were married.
The Los Angeles Times reported that the couple supposedly signed a prenuptial agreement a month before they tied the knot; her divorce filing stated that property and spousal support information had already been detailed in their pre-nuptial agreement. However, Sweeting, who is worth a measly $2 million compared to her $45 million, still filed for a request for spousal support in October.
What do you think about this marriage gone sour? Do you think Kaley did the right thing by erasing all traces of Ryan in her life?
