Bad news for GTA fans as the next instalment of the franchise is believed not to come soon since it is still being developed.

Neurogadget said there is a very low probability that "GTA 6" will be released in the next two years. "It will take more years for the developers to build this game. We agree that they have many ideas they can use, but still, a game such as GTA can't be built in just 2 years," added the same report.

With this expectation set, players could reportedly anticipate that the game will be available in the market sometime in 2019 or 2020.

It may indeed be a few more years before the public will be able to get hold of this game but Trusted Reviews noted that this will give players ample time "to build the perfect GTA game" in their heads. It added that players will be expecting more from the game after the success of the GTA 5 in 2013.

When it becomes available four to five years from now, the game is expected to arrive with a female lead character modeled after actress Eva Mendes.

Vine Report said there is a great possibility that Rockstar Games will bring in a female lead character as the game developer's Vice President Dan Houser earlier mentioned the strong demand for this.

This came after players criticized the previous GTA release for its portrayal of women and the lack of female characters in the game.

A similar News Every Day report confirmed Rockstar's interest in introducing a female protagonist. According to the report, Houser said: "In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character? Of course, we just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things we always think about,"

The game is also believed to have a wider scope, with maps and locations possibly including Texas, Chicago, Portland or even London. 

Because of the peak of the sales of its previous releases, Rockstar is reportedly pressured into producing a better and bigger game than the other installments.

Discussing the features of the game, GTA6GrandTheftAuto states that fans are asking Rockstar to bring in the1970s vibe because it is suited for mafias and also encompasses corrupt government practices.

Meanwhile, others are expecting the main character to be customized prior to playing the game. The same report explained that the upcoming game can also be explored by making more missions available, "like robbing banks mission, having a job like joining the army or the police."

Despite the delayed release of "GTA 6," KnowYourMobile said there could be a number of mini-series updates prior to its availability in the market.
