While many "50 Shades of Grey" fans are over-the-moon about the highly-anticipated film adaptation, especially after readying the bestselling erotic novel, it's safe to say that supermodel Chrissy Teigen does not fit into that category.

In fact, the famed "Sports Illustrated" model bashed the book in late December after making an attempt to read it for the first time.

Teigen shared her disgust for the E.L. James novel on Twitter, staring with the opening chapter which has been widely criticized.

"entire 1st page dedicated to hair brushing. 'Must not brush it wet' 'time for a ponytail' wow compelling stuff here #mysterysciencelibrary," tweeted the 28-year-old beauty.

Teigen, who is married to RnB star John Legend, went on to describe what she feels was James' inspiration for the mommy porn, "I feel like this started as a mad libs."

Because the sly model couldn't make it through the book, she decided to bury it in the sand instead and posted a picture of her doing so with the caption "I tried."

She also unleashed her utter distaste for the popular sitcom "Friends" on Twitter, writing "Settle down. I don't find Friends funny. Never did. Not one joke. I think it sucks. You'll live."

Despite her discontent, millions of readers across the globe starkly disagree with Teigen as the erotic romance novel has become an international bestseller and has been translated in 52 languages since its release in 2011. So far, the "Fifty Shades" trilogy has sold more than 90 million copies worldwide in e-book and print, making it one of the fastest-selling book series in history.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" will open in cinemas on Valentine's Day weekend in 2015, reports US Weekly.
