After confirming that they were indeed in a relationship, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani could probably live happily ever after, except that it's never the case when it comes to celebrity relationships, and right now, things aren't looking up as far as controversies go.

Rumors have surfaced stating that  Gavin Rossdale, Gwen Stefani's former husband, was the one to blame for their divorce. According to Us Weekly, Stefani uncovered that Rossdale has been having a long-time affair with their Nanny Mindy Mann, who took care of their three sons, 9-year-old Kingston, 7-year-old Zuma, and 20-month-old Apollo. At the time, Stefani was said to have discovered explicit texts between Mann and her husband, with nude photos to match - on their family iPad.

A source for Us shared, "The iPad was linked to Gavin's phone, One of the other nannies discovered the exchange and told Gwen."

Stefani had Mannfired soon after, despite Rossdale's insistence of the affair being mere "flritation". However, he finally confessed months later, which then led to the couple's divorce.

After rumors of the cheating circulated, Rossdale nor his publicist could not be reached, but an insider for E! News explained that right now, all the father-of-three is concerned about is his children. The source explained, "All Gavin is concerned about right now is protecting his kids. He is a fantastic father and his kids have been going through a hard time."

As for the wedding ring that he still apparently wears, the source added, "He wears his wedding ring because it makes the kids feel good. His kids are his number one priority."

About Stefani's relationship with her "The Voice" co-Judge Blake Shelton, Rossdale is said not to have any suspicions at all as to when the relationship started, but that he just wants her to be happy when they ended their 13-year-marriage.

The couple filed for divorce in August, with Stefani citing irreconcilable differences. The former couple also released a joint statement at the time, saying, "While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time." Among other things, Stefani and Rossdale also sought for joint custody of their children.
