U.S. President Barack Obama was caught dancing his way along the red carpet during his state visit in Africa. Obama was on the Tanzanian leg of his African state visit with the footage shot at Dar Es Salaam, the Daily Mail reports.

Watch Obama's dance moves below.

Obama was also scheduled to meet former U.S. President George W. Bush to visit the site of the former U.S. Embassy which fell victim to bombing years ago. The two officials are set to honor the site which was bomed in 1998, killing 11 peeople.

Tanzania is scheduled as the last stop of Obama's tour in Africa, following Senegal and South Africa.

A festive band met Obama as he walked off the Air Force One at the airport. Obama, caught by beat, danced alongside the band members as he walked with Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete who was visibly amused with his counterpart's mood and dance moves during the arrival.

Obama flew in from South Africa in his bid to rekindle friendships with the continent's leading democracies.

Aside from his visits to the heads of states in the region, Obama also aims to meet with businessmen from both America and Africa living in the area.

During the state dinner, Obama noted how security arrangements have evolved regarding U.S. state visits to Tanzania, comparing his visit to that of former U.S. President Robert Kennedy. Kennedy, Obama said, was able to ride in an "open top truck," with Obama forced to ride inside his fortified limousine.

"When Kennedy came, it was a public holiday here. I apologize to Tanzanians that you all had to work today," The Daily Mail quoted Obama as saying.

During the visit, Obama was quick to praise President Kikwete's ideas and visions for improvements in the country. Obama noted that Kikwete has "shown wisdom and strength in seeking reforms so that more Tanzanians can enjoy progress, more opportunity."

Tomorrow, Obama ends his visit with a meetup with Bush at the embassy honors, a speech about electricity, and a flight back to Washington.
