Microsoft has announced the first Xbox 360 titles that will be playable on the Xbox One from this week.

Tech Radar reported that on Nov. 12, Microsoft will launch a new update for the console's system software that will enable it. The official list has majority of the biggest games of last generation, such as the original "Mass Effect," the whole "Gears of War" series, and "Assassin's Creed 2." The latter is widely perceived as the best entry in the franchise.

Other games included in the upcoming Xbox 360 titles are "Lego Star Wars" and several classic games that were previously available for purchase on the console digitally, which includes "Sonic the Hedgehog," Tech Radar further reported. Also, gamers should look out for the backwards compatibility feature of the Xbox console.

Here's the full list of 104 games to be launched in the Xbox 360, as provided by Tech Radar. More games are expected to be added by Microsoft in the coming weeks.
