Just in time for the Holiday season, Samsung is giving away $350 worth of free stuff when you buy one their four new flagship smartphones. The South Korean company offers a bundle of two packages to give consumers a variety of choices and -- there's more -- they too give $50 worth of rebate upon activating the Samsung Pay app.
The deal was just recently announced on Nov. 9 and will last until Nov. 22. According to The Verge, customers will be entitled to join the promo when they buy Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, or Note 5.
Purchasers will be able to choose from; the Swarovski crystal jewelry gift packageTM, which has Samsung-branded fast charge portable battery park, wireless charging pad, and Swarovski crystal phone cover. The Level On gift packageTM, on the other hand, comes with the same battery pack and charging pad, but replaces the crystal cover for a pair of Samsung's Level On headphones.
For them to get the $50 cash rebate, the buyers should activate the company's Samsung Pay mobile payments system on their new phone. Also, the users who wanted to trade their iPhones for a new Samsung device can get free $100 worth of Google Play credits, which can be used to buy applications and such.
Moreover, WCCF Tech added that Sprint also has the same offering for the Galaxy smartphones. Aside from the purchasing scheme, monthly installments or the conventional two-year contract, the telecommunication company is giving a year of Amazon Prime.
Sprint's new promotion will help their stock to get high before the Black Friday deal starts. However, even though Samsung's four crown jewel units are one of the best high-end phones in the market, the company still faces a low sale figure.
Unfortunately, the Seoul-based corporation's premium handheld devices are didn't sell as much as Samsung was hoping for. The company felt the pressure of competing with other Android-powered, high-end units in the market and, of course, the Apple's flagship smartphones. The publication also wrote that Samsung might give another eccentric deal to entice consumers to support their products.
Meanwhile, TIME cited that in spite of Samsung's falling profits, they remain as the number one most sought-after smartphone brand in the world. The International Data Corporation noted that Samsung phones have 21.4% of the world's smartphone market share as of Q2 2015, compared to its rival Apple with 13.9% share.
