First, they gave several teasers. Then they sold tickets in advance. But there's just not enough hype that could keep "Star Wars" fans satiated, and it seems that the companies behind the highly anticipated film are willing to give gifts, this time, in the form of a "Star Wars Sampler" Comic.

Marvel Entertainment's "Star Wars" comic is a 56-page sampler set to be released on December 9 to comic book retailers to try to lure in even more readers. The comic includes previews from the first few issues of the "Star Wars" series, as well as the spinoff titles, "Darth Vader", "Princess Leia", "Lando", "Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens --- Shattered Empire" and even the upcoming crossover, "Vader Down".

The release, according to The Hollywood Reporter is being promoted by the studios as it is "perfect for distribution at movie theaters and other promotional events."

As it is used for promotional purposes, and the companies involved with the franchise seem to be feeling a bit generous, yes, the "Sampler" is given to "Star Wars" fans for free... Which you can thank your local comic book stores for,

"Star Wars" comics have been doing very well these days with "Star Wars No. 1", which was released in January, going through nine printings and selling over a million copies. The franchise started expanding fast, and soon, three continuing monthly series are listed, including "Star Wars", "Darth Vader" and "Star Wars: Kanan".

But even the free sampler is no match for what the producers did for a fan with a dying wish.

According to The Daily Mail UK, The Force was strong for Daniel Fleetwood, a 32-year-old terminally ill cancer patient, who was granted his dying wish of being able to watch the latest film. Director JJ Abrams reportedly called Fleetwood to give him good news: He is able to watch an early, unedited screening of the upcoming film.

His wife, Ashley, posted their gratitude on Facebook, writing, "To all our wonderful supporters, friends, family and awesome strangers: Daniels final dream was just granted!!! Today the wonderful Disney and Lucasfilms made his final dream come true, in the amazing typical Disney way, they really do make dreams come true!"

According to TMZ, Disney executives arrived at Daniel's home in Texas to give him the unedited version of the film, which he watched on his own television, but was played from Disney's equipment. They also had to sign a confidentiality agreement so as not to leak the film before its premiere.

For everyone else, "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" will premiere in theaters on December 18, 2015
