The St. Louis Rams are reportedly looking to trade their No.2 overall pick in the upcoming 2014 NFL draft, a source close to situation disclosed on Tuesday.

The Rams have expressed their intention of giving away their prized No.2 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft in exchange for assets in the form of a solid player or multiple picks in the first round.

"There are going to be some teams that want to pick a quarterback, and that could increase the value of our pick," Snead told Peter King of Sports Illustrated. "I have told people I'm not sure I know how to draft without multiple first-round picks, so I'm always going to be interested when it comes to making sure I can continue to do that."

With the franchise still very much committed to quarterback Sam Bradford, the Rams might have no interest at all in picking top QB prospects such as Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater, Texas A&M Johnny Manziel and Fresno State's Derek Carr.

The Rams are not also inclined to use their picks for college football pass rusher standouts like UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr and South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney because of the emergence of Robert Quinn and Chris Long as the team's premier defensive players.

"The franchise still seems committed to quarterback Sam Bradford for the time being, taking Teddy Bridgewater of Louisville, Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M and Derek Carr of Fresno State out of the equation," CBS Sports Dan Greenspan stated on his recent report.

According to NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah, the Rams are likely looking to inject more talent into their offensive line and wide receiver positions. Jeremiah believed trading down would allow the Rams to get a prospect in each position of a very loaded draft.

"NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah lists the offensive line and wide receiver as the team's two biggest needs, but the draft class should be loaded at both positions, so a trade down would allow the Rams to still add a major talent later in the first round," via CBS.
