Apple Inc is readying itself for its next flagship phone and it looks like there are already leaks as to what it will look and feel like.

According to Cult of Mac, for instance there have been a lot of rumors that Apple's next project is a bezel-less iPhone, but there are other new concept designs as well. DeepMind, in collaboration with SvetApple, for instance, showed a nifty feature that makes the new iPhone 7 look similar to the current model, but with the ability to let users enlarge photos and videos right at the edge of their devices.

A new concept video has already been uploaded as well, which you can watch below.

On the other hand, Slash Gear noted that there had been a lot of brainstorming for the next iPhone model, and there are few other details available, although at this point, they are all considered as mere rumors instead of actual news.

First, the dates. Slash Gear noted that the release date may be set for September 23, 2016, while the reveal date is set two weeks earlier on September 7.

As for the design and color, it is said that Apple will follow through with the iPhone 5C multicolored phones, but instead of plastic neon ones, metal casings are said to set the phone apart from Apple's usual smartphone line, with a possibility of more colors to showcase them in. Among the rendered colors are Space Gray, Gold, Silver, Wine and Copper, although it won't be much of a stretch if Rose Gold and Black will make a return.

Hajek also suggests that there is a possibility that Apple will follow suit with Samsung and get a display that goes as far as the edge of the phone, but not so much as so that it will look like an Edge device.

Then there are rumors of the iPhone 7 getting a Mute switch, which is a bit surprising. Slash Gear noted that although the power button will be a mainstay for the foreseeable future of the iPhone, it is expected that at this point, Apple will employ touch-sensitive buttons for non-hardware like the volume button and home button.

But that does not seem to be the case.

It is too early for details about the iPhone 7 to come a-surface, however, more news are expected to leak --- whether rumored or confirmed --- over the next few months, especially so when the release or reveal dates grow near.

What do you think about these rumors so far, though?
