On Sunday, Nicki Minaj posted a photo on Instagram of a man dressed up for Halloween as Bill Cosby, complete with a prescription bottle in hand, and dragging with him another person dressed up as a half-conscious woman with a cocktail in hand.

Minaj captioned the post, "Our generation is so desensitized."

The photo, which was originally posted by a radio DJ, came with the caption, "This gotta stop #PillCosby."

As for Minaj, she posted her own Halloween costume, which she described as a "fairy king princess."

Fans of the rapper were quick to respond with criticisms about the Cosby post. According to Billboard, comments on the post ranged from "so fed up" to "disgusting". One commenter even said that "This isn't what Halloween is about."

As noted by People, the 78-year-old comedian has been accused by more than 50 women so far, all of who came forward to say that they were drugged and/or sexually assaulted in incidents from way back in the 1960s.

However, Bill Cosby isn't the only offensive costume this Halloween. As noted by The Daily Mail, there are people who took things a bit too far by dressing up as the troubled Lamar Odom and his wife, Khloe Kardashian, Syrian Refugee with Baby and even as hybrids of Bruce and Caitlyn Jenner.

Then there are those who dressed up as dentist Walter Palmer and Cecil the Lion and even a dead man who landed on a freeway sign after his car crashed.

Similar to that of Minaj's actions, The Daily Mail noted that these costumes were circulated online, with many criticizing them. For instance, Jigme Ugen, president of the Tibetan National Congress, expressed his woes about the Syrian refugee costume, writing, "Livid & appalled by the woman dressed as a #SyrianRefugee with a doll [baby] sling-wrapped as her #Halloween costume. Insensitive & racist."

Even "Pretty Little Liars" actress Ashley Benson had to apologize when she became the brunt of criticisms when she dressed up as Cecil the Lion for her own Halloween costume. She said onInstagram that her costume was in "poor taste" and went on to say that "The caption that was posted was incorrect and my costume was not Cecil the Lion, when I saw that, I contacted management who handled the post and had it immediately changed. I recognize that I am responsible for everything posted on my social accounts and this was an unfortunate oversight."

In the end, The Hollywood Life reported that she dressed up as a vampire on Halloween with fellow PLL co-star, Tyler Blackburn. With all things considered, though and the sheer number of inappropriate costumes making their way to the Halloween crowd, do you think Nicki Minaj is right in pointing out that this generation is "desensitized"?
