Jared Leto plays The Joker in the "Suicide Squad" and a full look at his version of the Batman nemesis seems to be creating waves in the Internet.

Leto's version of The Joker in the upcoming Warner Bros. film seemed to be very different from Academy Award-winning Heath Ledger's iconic portrayal yet it still tickles curiosity of those around him.

In fact, the Business Insider among other outlets cited how his colleagues and co-stars describe him to be very dedicated to the role that he never got out of it even behind the camera.

Will Smith, who plays Deadshot in the film, revealed to the radio show, Apple Beats 1, that he had not actually met the real Jared Leto since they never said a word to each other outside filming.

To top it off, he even has a peculiar taste in gifts to give his co-stars such a love letter in a black box accompanied by a rodent and bullets with a letter, something only the Joker can think of.

Now, a full look at Leto's portrayal of the Batman's archenemy in the latest issue of the Empire Magazine shows how different he is from the legend Ledger created.

The British magazine's cover shows Leto as the Joker in full costume, complete with the green hair, white makeup, and deranged smile, which Yahoo News described as a bit swaggy compared to that of Ledger's downright dark portrayal of the Clown Prince of Crime.

One notable addition to Leto's Joker look is the bold letters spelling the character's name tattooed across his stomach.

And, like the Joker in the cartoons, this version would also carry a crane though Leto's portrayal appear to be very close to being shirtless with the purple trench coat unbuttoned all the way down.

To top it off, Leto has an extremely horrifying description on how he immersed himself in the character.

"I took a pretty deep dive. But this was a unique opportunity and I couldn't imagine doing it another way. It was fun, playing those psychological games. But at the same time it was very painful, like giving birth out of my prick hole," he told Empire as quoted by Comic Book Movie.

The actor also revealed how he listed to 1920s gospel music and read some literature of the shamans while he was playing the role.

He also revealed an unexpected take on the character whom he described as someone much older and different.

"It's something different. If you don't break rules, you're not going to strike new ground. I think I'll be cooling down for the rest of my life," he added.
