Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade happily announced their engagement earlier this month without mentioning the skeletons in Wade's closet.

It turns out that the Miami Heat player had a third child with another woman a few months ago, before he proposed to the "Bring It On" actress on Dec. 20.

The 31-year-old Miami Heat guard reportedly welcomed a baby boy with a mystery woman he has known "for years" while he was "on a break" from his now-fiance, a source told Gossip Cop.  

According to E! News, the 41-year-old actress was initially angry and distanced herself from Wade after learning about the news. However, the power couple has apparently reconciled, as Union showed off her huge diamond engagement ring while watching her fiance play against the L.A. Lakers at the Staples Center on Christmas Day.

The two "have worked through the issue privately as a couple," when they learned Wade fathered a child with another woman, an inside source told Entertainment Tonight. Union is said to have known about the child before accepting Dwyane's marriage proposal, but has not let that affect her decision to marry the NBA star.

The source also said that Wade recently paid his youngest son a visit and intends to be part of his life.

Union and Wade have been dating since 2009 and have not set an official wedding date.

There's been no word on the identity of the mother of Wade's new child.  The basketball player also has two sons with his ex-wife whom he divorced in 2010.
