She is known for creating her own style and by loving herself in every look she creates but Zendaya didn't like when her latest photo shoot was altered by too much Photoshop. The 19-year-old star brought her sentiments on her Instagram page by comparing the original snap versus the enhanced one.
The singer got another magazine cover for Modeliste but didn't quite like that her photographs were trimmed down way too much. "Had a new shoot come out today and was shocked when I found my 19 year old hips and torso quite manipulated," she captioned the side-by-side picture she posted on Tuesday.

However, the editors of the independent print and digital fashion spread quickly respond to her cry and removed her retouched images, according to Yahoo! Beauty. "Thank you @modelistemagazine for pulling down the images and fixing this retouch issue," she added to the original post after awhile.

BuzzFeed noted that dancer's fans immediately came to her rescue as they defended their icon and gave her moral support and words of encouragement through her and the publication's social media pages. In fact, one Instagram user said: "You're a racist manipulative magazine. It's editors like you who cause insecurities in girls and create these fake images of what a girl should look like."
Even her fellow artists like Ellen Pompeo and co-Disney channel star Rowan Blanchard used their Twitter accounts to give their words to Zendaya. The 45-year-old actress wrote: "Keeping it really real...adore you." While the 14-year-old "Girl Meets World" star, on the other hand, tweeted: "Thank you for helping me and millions of other girls love themselves FOR themselves."
Meanwhile, Modeliste's Editor-in-Chief took the full responsibility and bravely apologized for the incident on their own Instagram page. They wrote: "I would like to send a message to all of @zendaya beautiful, shining and loyal fans: We hear you and than you for outpouring support of the issue and this talented and inspiring young woman."

To recall, this is not the first time that the actress faced a controversy regarding her looks.
Entertainment Weekly cited that she slammed Giuliana Rancic for the negative comment the 41-year-old television host said about her dreadlocks at Oscars on an episode of E!'s Fashion Police in February.
"I feel like she smells like patchouli oil, or weed. Maybe weed?" Guiliana said. Zendaya quickly responded to her disrespectful comments, Vogue noted.
"My wearing my hair in locs on an Oscar red carpet was to showcase them in a positive light, to remind people of color that our hair is good enough. To me locs are a symbol of strength and beauty."
