Lionsgate has unveiled two more 30-second trailers for the upcoming final installment of "The Hunger Games", and according to Design and Trend, the clips will air as TV spots on major networks.
So what's up with two trailers?
The first one shows Alma Coin (Julianne Mooe) delivering a speech about Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and her time int he spotlight. After which, Katniss can be seen leading soldiers from different districts ready to fight against President Snow (Donald Sutherland) and his army.
The second trailer, on the other hand, shows footage from previous "Hunger Games" films, before showing Katniss leading her band of warriors into battle.
The trailers are released one month before "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" concludes the dystopic film series in theaters, and will take off immediately after the events of "Part 1".
According to the Wall Street Journal, the final "Hunger Games" film has already generated a lot of buzz and is among the top five trailers on Twitter this year. The outlet said that the media heat for the dystopian film is indicative of another box office performance from the series, despite the considerably low domestic gross for "Mockingjay Part 1".
Movie Web noted that the final film in the series will show the nation of Panem in a full-scale war, and Katniss will confront President Snow in their final showdown, following his increasing obsession to destroy her.
The series also includes Liam Hemsworth as Gale, Sam Claflin as Finnick, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, Woody Harrelson as Haymitch, and Willow Shields as Primrose. The supporting cast also has a list of recognizable names, including the late Philip Seymour Hoffman in his final role as Plutarch Heavensbee. The actor, who died in 2014 was not able to complete his role as Heavensbee, which led the director, Francis Lawrence to rewrite the remaining script to rework around Hoffman's scenes.
Also joining the cast are Natalie Dormer as Cressida, Evan Ross as Messalla, Robert Knepper as Antonius, and Elizabeth Banks is back as Effie Trinket.
Speaking of Elizabeth Banks, the actress spoke about the movie, saying that it provided a "satisfying close" to the series adapted from Suzanne Collins's books. She shared, "The movie is beautiful, wonderful, a great conclusion, true to the book."
However, she can't help but share her tear-jerking experience in the film, which has more to do with the cast members than the wrap. Banks shared, "The most emotional thing about seeing the movie is seeing Phil, seeing Philip Seymour Hoffman again. And just being taken right back to that whole experience and just being reminded of that tragedy."
The Francis Lawrence-directed film will be in theaters on November 20. Check out both TV Spots below:
