The Xioami Mi 6 is expected to be a hit when it debuts next year, if reports are to be believed. This will be the first Xiaomi smartphone to arrive outside of Asia and Europe.

According to the Master Herald, the Xiaomi Mi 6  is set to be the first handset from the emerging smartphone manufacturer to be released in the North American market. As of this writing, details of the Xiaomi Mi 6 are very minimal, although there have been rumors circulating all over the Internet regarding the upcoming smartphone's specs and features.

Every year, each new Xiaomi smartphone seems to be building on the success of its predecessor. As one may expect, the Xiaomi brand banks its success on the improvements it makes on the business and personal needs of smartphone users worldwide.

Below are some of the purported specs and features of the Xiaomi Mi 6:

1. The Screen Will have a 5.0 or 5.5 inch display. 

As previously noted, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is speculated to feature a display screen measuring 5.0 to 5.5 inches. The phone's display allegedly comes with a QHD resolution, powered by a 64-bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. This will be matched, reportedly, by a RAM configuration of 3 or 4 GB.

2. Retina Scanner

Another rumored feature of the upcoming smartphone is the eye scanner, making the fingerprint scanner a thing of the past, according to Tech Reversed.

3. Spectacular Camera

Tech Reversed also cited claims which put the Xiaomi Mi 6 as to having a camera worth 23 MP in the rear, supported by O.I.S. (Optical image stabilization). An enhanced selfie camera is also expected.

4. Wireless Charging 

There are also rumors suggesting that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will have an integrated wireless charging, as with a rapid charging feature. With consumers getting even more dependent on technology, wireless and efficient charging seems to be a must.

5. An Ample Amount of Memory

Expandable memory is a feature loved by smartphone users. The Xiaomi Mi 6, reportedly, will give consumers an extra 128 GB via a Micro SD card, as seen in today's models. The expandable memory will come in three internal memory options of 16, 32, and 64 GB.

As per reports, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to have a retail price of $399 and will be released in June 2016. The smartphone, certainly, is believed to become one of the most in-demand smartphones, considering Xiaomi's promising achievements in the past.
