The new poster for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has finally been unveiled, but with one cast member glaringly missing. According to Mirror UK, the poster drawn by Drew Struzan, left fans dissatisfied when photos of the new cast members --- Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, Poe Dameron, Rey, Finn, Maz Kanatand and BB-8 --- were featured along with the legendary original cast such as Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, R2-D2 and C-3PO. The person missing?

Yes, Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker is still left out from the show's publicity, despite the fact that the actor confirmed his return to the franchise.

His absence also sparked rumor mills, many deciding that he may have a minor role in "The Force Awakens," although "Star Wars" bosses are yet to comment as to why Luke isn't in the poster (or trailer, for that matter). Check out the poster here.

Upon closer inspection by Cinema Blend, it was found that the top part of the poster shows not only new faces (Adam Driver's Kylo Ren; and Daisy Ridley's and John Boyega's Rey and Finn) but new elements as well. The big, round thing on the top right is neither a moon nor a Death Star, but a Starkiller Base --- a former ice planet transformed to become a weapon.

There's also a bit of mystery in the middle part of the poster. While it featured veterans and Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron and the loveable new android BB-8, there is one alien nobody can seem to figure out yet, positioned just next to R2D2.

"Game of Thrones" actress Gwendoline Christie's Captain Phasma is positioned at the bottom, of the poster, just above the title. However, the area is more dedicated to action than the rest of the poster, with rows of Stormtroopers, X-Wings and the Millennium Falcon flying around.

Another trailer for Episode VII will also be debuting at the Monday Night Football game on ESPN, which will also be an avenue for the opening sale for tickets to the highly anticipated event.

The bosses of "Star Wars" are not stopping there, though. Along with the new trailer and ticket sales, several theaters are ready to give the ultimate Star Wars experience. A Star Wars Marathon Event will show all movies on December 17. According to the official Star Wars website, each of the guests will be able to watch all seven movies beginning with "The Phantom Menace" in digital 2D, ending with "The Force Awakens" in 3D.

However, the official release of "The Force Awakens", will be on December 18, 2015.
