On October 13, TVLine revealed a photo showing Tempe and Ichabod's "awesomely weird" encounter at the Jeffersonian lab as they collaborate with FBI Agenst Seeley Booth played by David Boreanaz and Abbie Mills portrayed by Nicole Beharie in solving crime.
Apparently, the four beloved characters of two of Fox's hit TV series are looking for answers to the mystery behind the human remains the Jeffersonian scientists are looking into which, as it turns out, lead to the possible return of one of Crane's enemies.
Interestingly, the addition of a Revolutionary War captain to "a lab run by a socially awkward genius" is something that the studio and its stars think is a good idea.
"It actually worked really rather nicely, 'cause they're quite similar, actually. I hadn't really realized it until I started working with Emily, that Brennan and Ichabod are very similar. Which is probably why they're destined not to get along," "Sleepy Hollow" star Tom Mison explained to TVLine after he shot scenes with "Bones'" Emily Deschanel.
Based on the photo and Mison's statement, the two characters did not get along very well which can be expected considering how Ichabod queries Brennan about faith, art and love-three of the intelligent anthropologist's weak points.
Of course, the whole crossover would not be complete without an Abbie Mills-Seeley Booth encounter as revealed in a more recent report from the outlet.
According to the report, Booth meets up with the fresh Quantico grad to work on the same case as Bones and Ichabod.
In the set of "Bones," TVLine was able to get some quick scoops from Boreanaz.
"Abbie comes off a bit flying from the hip. Booth used to come flying from the hip in his early days at the FBI, so he can understand that," the actor told TVLine, noting how his character developed after 10 seasons with the show over the years.
His observation on Abbie, on the other hand, seem to be quite accurate considering how the young FBI agent appears to be "a wee bit impatient" with Booth's plan.

This exciting two-hour crossover event is set to air on Thursday, October 29, occupying the timeslots for the two shows.
