Doe B, Rapper Signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle, Gunned Down in Alabama

Doe B, a rapper signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle label, was reportedly shot and killed at the age of 22 early Saturday morning.
Born Glenn Thomas, the Alabama native was killed during a shooting incident in his hometown of Montgomery. According to Montgomery's WSFA 12 News, the rapper was fatally shot at Montgomery's Centennial Bar and Grill around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. A second victim, 21-year-old Kimberle Johnson was also pronounced dead at the scene. In addition, six other people were reportedly wounded at the bar formerly known as the Rose Supper Club.
Doe B's management confirmed the tragic loss of the up-and-coming star via Twitter, writing: "On behalf of doe b's management i would like to thank all of his fans and say Rest in Peace my brother Glenn thomas aka @CBMDOEB," from the slain rapper's account around 4:30am. Just 12 hours prior, Doe B was tweeting and promoting his new project and communicating with fans.
A number of hip hop stars including T.I. and Drake expressed their condolences via Twitter.
"RIP to my lil brother Doe B. We gon miss u my ni----. U'll never be forgotten & U WILL NOT DIE IN VAIN. We Love U champ. Always," tweeted T.I.
"RIP Doe B," wrote Drake on Twitter. "RIP Doe B .... #NeverForgotten," tweeted B.o.B.
Doe signed to T.I.'s Hustle Gang over the summer and appeared on Grand Hustle's compilation tape G.D.O.G. He also dropped his own mix tape called Baby Jesus back in July.
Police have not released the names of any suspects as of yet.
