Sorry Kanye, but your New Year's resolution to take a vow of silence is something we'll have to see in order to believe.

Kanye West, the outspoken rapper who is known for speaking his mind at anyone's expense, has promised to stop his controversial rants for "six months at least" come 2014.

The 36-year-old hip hop star made the declaration Monday, Dec. 23 during a concert in Toronto on his Yeezus Tour, reports Radar Online.

"Everything I"m saying that's not allowed, soak it in right now," he warned fans early on in the 27-minute rant. "...This might be the last time y'all hear me talk s--t for a long time. Might be another like six months. At least. You're just gonna have to run back the interviews and s--t if you wanna hear some realness!"

"I'm gonna tell y'all right now," he said, "that all of the ideas, what they call the rants the streams of consciousness that I express, I told y'all, save those tapes and everything because I've decided to completely focus everything in 2014, on new ideas and on creative outlets. I'm not [going to] ever bring up Nike again, and the only way I'll bring them up is in a positive light ... I'll never bring up the Grammys again in a negative light, because I actually appreciate the 21 Grammys that I did win."

West added that he is making the decision, "Because I'm not [trying] to be a dude that has all the opportunities in the world and only focuses on the negative, or complains about it, or just gets in some type of zone that just having to turn up all the time and s--t. So I'm letting you all now that this is the last Yeezus show, and this is the last time you'll ever hear me say negative about anyone ..."

While it remains to be seen whether or not the "Stonger" rapper will keep his mouth shut, he did however decide to unleash yet another angry rant against the Grammys who only nominated his highly acclaimed "Yeezu" album with two nominations, reports the NY Daily News.

"The Grammys, they nominated me with two Grammys," he said. "...Yeezus, the most highly reviewed album of the mother-----g year!"

"You don't run s--t!" West continued. "You rent the Staples Center for one night and give some god---n awards away! F--k you ... F--k you for Christmas. I'm gonna wrap this f--k you real tight and deliver it to the Grammys on Christmas night."
