The Sacramento Kings are reportedly pushing hard to get Phoenix Suns point guard Goran Dragic, a source close to situation reported on Friday.

In a chat session with ESPN NBA insider Chad Ford on Sports Nation, he pointed out that the Suns are one of several teams likely to be sellers on the trading front before the February trade deadline.

Ford added the Suns could likely shop everyone on their roster, except budding point guard Eric Bledsoe, who has become the team's focal leader in his first year in Phoenix.

"According to Ford, he believes that everyone except Eric Bledsoe could be shopped by the Suns and that includes the team possibly moving Goran Dragic to the Sacramento Kings," Sports Illustrated Fansided reported. 

Kings Interest on Dragic

Despite already acquiring Derrick Williams and Rudy Gay in separate trades, the Kings are apparently not done yet as they look to get a solid point guard to run their offense.

On the other hand, the Suns will try to evaluate the situation before deciding on whether or not they'll make key trades before the deadline. Dragic has been on the trading block ever since Bledsoe's arrival, but the Slovenian's great play alongside his new backcourt teammate has made it hard for the Suns front office to put him into trade negotiations.

"Not sure the Suns front office knows what to make of all of this. The plan was to tank. They thought they were fielding a roster that couldn't win. It's not like they are playing a bunch of savvy veterans. Eric Bledsoe is a big part of their future, so he's staying. Think everyone else on the team is available. Dragic is the most likely to go. Here the Kings have some interest there," Ford said during the chat session.

According to rumors, the Kings could package Isaiah Thomas, Marcus Thornton, and draft picks for Dragic, who averaged 18 points, 5.8 assists and 3.0 rebounds this season.
