Rihanna is not a stranger when it comes to baring her gorgeous bod for magazine spreads. Just recently, the Barbadian singer posed nude once again for Vanity Fair Cuba's November 2015 issue. In the publication's accompanying interview, Rihanna touched on dating and her rollercoaster romance with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

"I don't hate him," Rihanna told Vanity Fair of Brown, 26. "I will care about him until the day I die. We're not friends, but it's not like we're enemies. We don't have much of a relationship now."

These comments from the recording artist came nearly seven years after Brown assaulted her in a car before the Grammy Awards in February 2009, the publication noted. The two got back together three years later, with Rihanna lifting the restraining order against him.

"I was that girl," the "American Oxygen" singer said of her brief reunion with Brown, as quoted by Vanity Fair. "That girl who felt that as much pain as this relationship is, maybe some people are built stronger than others. Maybe I'm one of those people built to handle s--- like this. Maybe I'm the person who's almost the guardian angel to this person, to be there when they're not strong enough, when they're not understanding the world, when they just need someone to encourage them in a positive way and say the right thing."

Rihanna admitted that at the time, she thought "a hundred percent" that she could change Brown, adding that she was "very protective" of him and she felt that "people didn't understand him," Vanity Fair added.

Rihanna has been linked to several men lately, the most recent guy being rapper Travis Scott, People noted. She said that being under the media's unerring spotlight affected her approach to dating. Having the media around her at all times made her "guarded and protective" and "conscious" about people's intentions, according to Vanity Fair.

The 27-year-old acknowledges that being in a friends-with-benefits situation is easier, but the idea of sex for fun turns her off now and would make her feel "hollow," the magazine noted.

New Album

Rihanna is currently gearing up to release her eighth studio album, "R8." In an interview with NME in September, she said that the record is "not done" yet," but she can't wait to give her fans "something great."

For the album, Rihanna revealed that she wanted to focus on music that felt "real," "soulful," and "timeless," Billboard reported.

Executive produced by Kanye West, the record will also feature Florence + The Machine's frontwoman Florence Welch and Adele's regular song collaborator Paul Epworth, Capital FM wrote. John Newman, Ne-Yo, and Calvin Harris are also onboard.
