It's still six months away but fans are already tittering for what's next on HBO's epic fantasy series, "Game of Thrones", especially now that the series has caught up with the books and there is no way of knowing what will happen next.

The good news, however, is that fans are treated with a lot of updates as early as now, and here are the top leaked details about the upcoming season (so far):

1) According to Deadline, the show has added another recurring character to its already vast cast. New Zealand-born actor Joe Naufahu, is set to have a multi-episode arc, but his character details are being kept under wraps. If you think the guy looks familiar, it's probably because you saw him on another heavy-on-the-gore drama. He was Liscus in "Spartacus: Vengeance".

2) Jon Snow is definitely back. Despite denials from the showrunners and actor Kit Harington, The Daily Mail was able to capture photos of the actor back on set, and in full blacks and sword. But it's not like anyone believed his character to be really dead, right? Especially after he let it slip on The Huffington Post that "The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract ... Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over."

3) Jon Snow's lineage may also be revealed, which is further proof that Kit Harington will definitely be back. The Week UK said that the series is due to shoot at the Castillo de Zafra in Spain, and the 13th century fortress is believed to become the Tower of Joy, which may portray a scene to reveal the Stark Bastard's real lineage.

4) Ned Stark is also going to be back, but as a younger version in a flashback scene, where he will be played by 13-year-old Sebastian Croft. The surprise, though, is that Sean Bean (who played Ned Stark in the first season) is also back on set. Movie site Hey U Guys said about this revelation: "While Ned's death was as definitive as it gets, speculation has never ceased that he may be brought back in some form in the HBO series."

There are still many questions left to be answered --- for instance, what becomes of Sansa and Arya Stark? What about Bran? The dragons will be bigger, but will Daenerys Targaryen return as a Dothraki Queen or will she suffer in the hands of the tribe she used to rule alongside a Khal? What about her bid for the Iron Throne?

All these questions (maybe) will be answered when "Game Of Thrones" returns for its sixth season on HBO in the spring of 2016.
