Thalía departed from her telenovela career 16 years ago to focus on making music. Her translation to a singing career bore 13 studio albums, with 2014's "Amore Mio" as the most recent record. Just recently, the Mexican entertainer revealed that she is ready to showcase her acting skills once again through a telenovela comeback.

The news was revealed by Thalía in an interview in Univision's "El Gordo y La Flaca."

"I'll soon be in a telenovela. I can't tell you which one, but soon I'll be in a telenovela every night," she said in the interview, as reported by People En Español and translated by Latin Times.

Earlier in September, it was reported that TV producer and businesswoman Florinda Meza is in talks with Thalía about a new project that will air on Netflix, Latin Times reported. According to Meza, the singer-actress liked the project's synopsis after it was introduced to her.

Thalía, 44, starred in seven telenovelas, including "Marimar" (1994), "Maria Mercedes" (1992), and "Maria la del Barrio" (1995), with 1999's "Rosalinda" as her latest work, the news outlet noted. She is also one of the Latino artists featured in last month's "We're All Mexican" music video by Emilio Estefan, honoring the Hispanic community's contributions to the U.S.

Aside from her career in the entertainment industry, Thalía also ventured in other avenues, including writing books and launching her own clothing line. She teamed up with Macy's to create a line of apparel, shoes, and jewelry, In Style reported.

According to Thalía, the clothing line has an upbeat theme emphasizing the positive side of life and was inspired from her own personal style. In Style wrote that the five most prominent things in her clothing line are the leopard print, fashionable LBD, bright colors, tops with built-in jewelry, and shoes with extra bling.

Thalía has been married with music producer Tommy Motola for 15 years, Last April, she revealed in an interview on "El Gordo y La Flaca" that she suffered miscarriages in the past, Cosmopolitan reported.

When it comes to balancing her domestic life and her career, Thalía said that she and her husband help and support each other all the time.

"My work comes in waves. If I have an album coming out, it'll be about a month of craziness where I have to travel and do promotions, and then it calms down," she said in Cosmopolitan's spring cover issue. "If I'm working, he stays at home with the kids, and if he's working, I stay home. That is a family priority commitment without leaving aside my other family -- my fans."
