"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will be released on October 2, 2015 in Blu-ray 3D combo packs, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital SD and On Demand, Reports IGN. At the press event for the Blu-ray release of "Age of Ultron," producer Jeremy Latcham shared a plethora of information about Marvel's upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War" movies.
One of the most surprising details Latcham shared was that the kickass superhero team will not always be comprised of the same heroes. As proven by the last few minutes of "Age of Ultron," Marvel Studio's will follow the comics lead on rotating superheroes in and out of the Avengers team, reports Cinema Blend.
According to Latchham: "The team will be evolving. One of the things we loved in the comics is the rosters always changing and you could pick up a new issue of the comics ten years later and you don't recognize the people on the cover."
He consoles fans who have fallen in love with the current batch of Avengers by adding: "The Avengers still exist... We're seeing this version of the team doing this thing to save this universe, this galaxy, however you want to put it, and we'll see where this goes."
At the end of the last Avengers film, Captain America and Black Widow can be seen training the next group of superheroes to join forces with the famous superhero group, which includes: Vision, Falcon, Scarlet Witch and War Machine.
While it is not known who will ultimately make up the Avengers team by the end of "Infinity War," Latcham has confirmed that by the end of "Infinity War" Part 2, a new batch of superheroes will take over the Avengers' mantle.
Marvel has a lot of superheroes to choose from, especially with the array of heroes to be introduced in "Captain America: Civil War," in which it is rumored that the Marvel audience will see Spiderman, Black Panther and other notable heroes. Besides Falcon, Vision and Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man is another viable option for the next Avengers team, since he was already introduced in Phase 1.
There is also the band of thieves turned superhero team from "Guardians of the Galaxy." Although according to the video below, only one of the guardians might be included in the next Avengers team.
With more heroes to come there is no telling who will make it into the next Avengers. However, Latcham did reveal that the Russo brothers were sifting through Jim Starlin's 1992 version of "Infinity War" as well as Jonathan Hickman's 2013 version for some inspiration on the two-part movie, reports Comic Book.
