Season 3 of the hit HBO series "Girls" looks to be exciting and promising as the stars of the comedy series continue their voyage through life as twenty-something year old women living in New York.

Last month HBO released a teaser clip about what to expect in the upcoming third season of the highly acclaimed show. The trailer shows the protagonist Hannah twerking against a tombstone along with different scenes in which she and her three girlfriends struggle to establish their careers and relationships, reports Rolling Stone.

Subsequently, HBO recently released a second trailer for the new season of "Girls," which indicates that Hannah's career will finally get a lift off the ground.

"It's really amazing that all three of you have accomplished so little in the four years since college -- I mean, think about it, four years," says Shoshanna at the beginning of the trailer, to which Hannah responds saying, "Four years is like nothing."

The trailer shows Hannah making major moves in her writing career after being hired to work at a magazine that also employs a character played by Jenna Lyons, creative director of J. Crew, reports the Hollywood Reporter. Plus, another editor praises Hannah for her work, saying "I get you, Hannah Horvath and I like you."

The trailer also shows Marnie in what appears to be a music video suggesting that the former art gallery staffer has not given up on her dreams to be a singer. In another scene, Marnie boldly pushes back against a fading love interest, declaring "I wouldn't be eating pizza in front of you if I actually liked you. We also see the return of Hannah's bi-sexual ex-boyfriend Elijah in addition to Shoshanah yelling, "Deepak Chopra, I'm sick of your s-t!"

Another reoccurring theme in the promotional video is Hannah's incessant obsession with food.

The third season premieres January 12th on HBO.
