For the month of October, Xbox users could expect great game additions and other add-on deals.

According to TechNewsToday, Microsoft said that the games will be free for Xbox One and Xbox 360 users for the entire month as long as they have active Xbox Live subscriptions.

It added that among the free games available for the entire month on the Xbox One is the "Valiant Hearts: The Great War" by Ubisoft.

"Released this summer, the puzzle adventure game has been a major hit to say the least. The story is rather heart-touching as it takes us back to World War I, where the world is torn apart," added TechNewsToday noting that the game is also available for download on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Android, iOS and Windows Mobile.

Another game which will be offered to Xbox One, as well as Xbox 360 (from Oct. 16-31) users is "The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season." This game reportedly has the same setting as the TV series with the same title.

In addition, Gaming Target mentioned that the Walking Dead game gives players the opportunity "to experience the very first days of the apocalypse, meeting people and participating in events that intersect with the story seen in the comic books."

Meanwhile on the Xbox 360, the "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes" will also be made available from Oct. 1- 15. The game focuses on the rescue mission in a Cuban prison camp.

"It showcases key advances to the series made possible by its use of Kojima Productions' FOX Engine, with a large open environment, and missions where time of day and weather have a dynamic effect on the game and its missions," added Gaming Target.
