Just as suddenly as they got married, Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting announced their decision to divorce, much to the shock of their fans around the world. After all, the pair seemed genuinely happy together.

Kaley's rep said in a statement, "Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage. They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter."

Us Weekly reported that there's one explanation around the cyber community as to what went wrong and it's not the couple, but the home they're living in that ruined their bliss.

The outlet said that Kaley and Ryan moved into a home once owned by Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom -- who also ended their marriage while they were living in the same house, leading people to believe that the house may be cursed.

Kaley and Ryan moved into the bedroom home in March 2014 and just a year and a half later, they decided to split. At least Khloe and Lamar lasted a few years.

For those who do not believe in curses, there are other reasons the couple may have split. In fact, People said that there have been signs of tension from the former couple, a source even described that both "seemed miserable" just prior to their divorce. "The few times Kaley and Ryan were out together recently, the tension was noticeable. You could tell the honeymoon phase had ended," the source shared.

"It seemed they were trying to work out their marriage by going on dates, but they both seemed miserable," the source added.

Their personalities and schedules also played a part in the divorce, with the source noting, "Kaley and Ryan seem to have totally different personalities. Kaley is extremely focused and high-energy. She seems to always be working. On her off time, she also keeps very busy."

Ryan, on the other hand, had an off summer. "He has been struggling with injuries and barely practiced tennis. He has acted very down."

Rumors of their failing marriage had been haunting the couple for a few months and "The Big Bang Theory" actress had to address the rumors via a since-deleted post on Instagram, captioned "I have never been more proud of anyone on this planet -- this guy is fighting back from a whirlwind of injuries and not to mention constant 'conversation' regarding our marriage and basically any daily decision we decide to make".
