Amazon has reportedly revealed some unofficial specifications of LG and Google's Nexus 5X, a device created to match Apple's recently released iPhone 6S.

After its September 29 unveiling was announced in the British tabloid PC Advisor, the new LG Google Nexus 5X has remained in the headlines of technology rumor websites as more leaks continue to surface.

In fact, the online shopping giant Amazon.com has joined the leakage bandwagon with its own unofficial revelation.

According to the Tech Times, Amazon released unofficial information about the highly anticipated device.

In the information first seen in Amazon India, the LG Nexus 5X (LG-H791) would be sporting a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS capacitive touchscreen display.

The post also revealed that the new device would be sporting a 12.3-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper.

Under the hood, it is said to be powered by the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow matched with Qualcomm MSM8992 hexa-core processor, 2GB random access memory and 16GB internal storage.

In terms of battery life, the Nexus 5X has 2700 mAH, with standby time and talk time pegged at 300 and 17 hours on 3G, respectively.

Color selections for the device include Charcoal Black, Ice Blue and Quartz White.

However, the post was later removed prior to the writing of this article so there was no way to confirm whether the cited information was indeed from Amazon.

Fortunately, Seeking Alpha was able to get a screenshot of the post.

Amazon's post was the latest addition to the rumor mill about the Nexus 5X though there are still others who reveal some information that are not similar to the shopping giant's information.

A PC Advisor report states that the LG Nexus 5X would be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 SoC while Tech Times claims it is the Snapdragon 808 that would power the device.

"Whatever happens, Qualcomm has potential economic benefits if LG really uses a Snapdragon SoC for the next Google Nexus handset," Seeking Alpha noted.

Meanwhile, a recent report from Engadget revealed how Google has already "swung by the FCC for approval."

According to the report, Google's Nexus 5X would be supported by all four US carriers.

On a different note, Engadget and Tech Times also noted that Google would also be unveiling a bigger Nexus 6P alongside the Nexus 5X on September 29.

According to Tech Times, the bigger device would be sporting 2560 x 1440 Quad HD display to match that of the recently released iPhone 6S Plus from Apple.
