Motorola's Moto X smartphone has drawn a lot of attention from tech junkies these days, despite very little being known about the actual device itself. The smartphone, slated for a fall release, has now surfaced in another leaked photo claiming to showcase the Sprint LTE model.

The alleged Sprint Moto X phone, courtesy of Phone Arena, can be viewed above.

"Now we just got sent a picture of a Motorola XT1056 device being tested on Sprint's 4G LTE network, that our source believes is the mysterious Motorola X phone, and the same one that already passed the innards of the FCC, tipped to be a Sprint variant of the AT&T's XFON that sports '5G' Wi-Fi and NFC," writes Phone Arena.

The leaked photograph does fall in line with earlier pictures, and while there's no way to confirm its validity, remember that Motorola is owned by Google, and Google did not announce a brand new Nexus smartphone for 2013. Google has been far more aggressive in the smartphone market recently, and while the search giant has managed to wrangle deals with Samsung and HTC for "Nexus" editions of the popular Galaxy S4 and One, the price points of those devices are far above Google's previous internal strategy. With no new Nexus phone on the horizon, it is safe to assume that Morotorla Moto X phone will be expected to fill in the gap, especially given its highly-marketable, game-changing features.

The only real official confirmation of the Moto X came from Motorola Mobility CEO Dennis Woodside at an All Things D D11 executive conference, where he revealed that phone would be incredibly aware of its surroundings. The Moto X, he proclaimed, would be able to tell if it's in your pocket or on the road in a car moving at 60 miles per hour. Not only that, the phone will apparently adjust its functionality to fit the surroundings.

The Moto X phone has been tipped to come with a 4.7-inch 720p display, a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, a 10-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and 16GB internal storage. Release date speculation has the Moto X hitting stores' shelves sometime between August and October.
