A man has been arrested for breaking an infant's leg after it took him away from his video games one too many times in a sick example of how unbalanced people can be.

According to WTSP based in Tampa Bay, Florida Paul Lajeunesse, age 20, is being held in a Citrus County jail without bond with charges of aggravated child abuse. According to the report the man broke an infant's leg after he was left in charge of the child, claiming that the child's frequent diaper changes caused him to get frustrated and manhandle the child.

It is unclear what Lajeunesse's relationship with the child is, as he is not listed as a member of the child's family. The primary caretaker for the child is the baby's grandmother, whose house Lajeunesse is staying at. He is not mentioned as being the father of the baby or being in a relationship with the child's mother. According to the child's grandmother Lajeunesse does not have a job and spends most of his time at the house. The child's mother also lives at the house, but is in school.

The baby's grandmother first noticed that something was wrong when the baby would cry when Lajeunesse changed it's diaper, but would remain calm when she would change the diaper. Lajeunesse would frequently complain about having to interrupt his video game sessions to change the child, and the grandmother was concerned about how he handled the baby. On Dec. 11, it is reported by Citrus County officials that when Lajeunesse went to change the diaper of the baby, his frustration took an ugly turn.

Lajeunesse later admitted to Department of Children and Families that when he went to change the baby's diaper on Dec. 11, he felt the child's leg pop and go limp. He told the grandmother what happened, and they rushed the child to the doctor, where it was determined that the baby's leg was fractured and treatment was sought immediately. The baby has since been released from the hospital. Lajeunesse has been told not to have contact the victim.
This story shows the ugly side of humanity, and it is disgusting that somebody could be so angry and uncaring about a defenseless infant. Considering that most video games have pause buttons, it should have been no big deal to stop the game for two minutes and change the baby without manhandling the child. It is unclear how long Lajeunesse could be in jail for if he is convicted.
