In 2005, an episode of the popular Nickelodeon show, "Zoey 101" had Jamie Lynn Spears's titular Zoey bury a time capsule with a DVD where she possibly admitted to having secret feelings for her best friend, Chase. However, she told him that he can see the message in 10 years.

Dan Schneider, the show's producer, does not break promises and in a report by Pop Crush, Sean Flynn (Chase) and Chris Massey (Michael) came back together for a short clip to reprise their roles and Chase finally learns about how Zoey feels for him.

Of course, since Michael found Chase almost proposing to his girlfriend in a restaurant, they couldn't locate a DVD player to watch the video, so Michael, who already watched it, relayed her message for Chase instead.

According to Michael's transcription, "Sometimes, I kinda think he has a little crush on me, but other times, I kinda think he just wants to be friends," Zoey said. It didn't end there, though. The big news? It seems that Zoey also thought even all those years ago that Chase might be her soulmate.

Then Chase admits he's still in love with Zoey after all this time and unfortunately for the girlfriend who was about to be proposed to, he just ran out to find his childhood love, taking the engagement ring with him.

Unfortunately, the 5-minute clip did not show what happened next, although there is a possibility for the clip to get a continuation, hopefully, with Jamie Lynn's appearance on the reunion show.

Speaking of the younger Spears, Hollywood Life reported that the show's fans were furious with her for not going off to find Chase herself. Actually, she didn't even make any mentions regarding the clip after the video was posted online. According to the outlet, it wasn't like she was off the grid, either, considering that she posted on social media on the same day the video broke.

Fans were not happy about her lack of excitement and basically flooded the comments section with posts saying, "Go find Chase!"

We just have to wait it out though, Dan did say the video is "to be continued".

Fans are definitely hoping for Zoey and Chase to finally be together all these years later, but you have to admit, Jamie Lynn could at least have addressed all the hype, considering that she's in the middle of it all.
