"Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" tops the box office after its release on September 18 as members of the cast reveal whether or not they would last a day in The Scorch.

In an interview with the Huffington Post, Dylan O'Brien and the rest of the cast, most of which portray the Gladers in the film, revealed their assessment whether they would survive the trial their characters undergo in the film.

First in the list is O'Brien who plays Thomas, the newbie who joined the Glader and inadvertently saved the remaining Gladers from being killed by mechanical monsters unleashed by the mysterious and powerful organization WCKD.

"No, probably not. Maybe? No. A day? Yeah. I could definitely do a day. Definitely, I'd challenge myself to a day," the actor hesitantly answered.

Aside from O'Brien, Ki Hong Lee who plays Minho, another fan-favorite character in the series, revealed that he would not last even a single day in The Scorch, saying: "No. Absolutely not. It's so hot, man!"

Joining this band of teenaged Gladers is newcomer Katherine McNamara who plays Sonya, claiming that she would not survive the trial without her co-stars with her.

"Not without these guys. I would not last a day, no. I mean I would try, but I have a feeling that I need this team behind me to really make it happen," she explained.

Meanwhile, Kaya Scodelario who plays Teresa, the lone rose among the thorns in the first "Maze Runner" film, reveals that even with help, she would not want to spend a single day in the desert because she loves the comforts of her home.

"No, I wouldn't at all I'm terrible with things like that. I like my home comforts I like my pajamas, my dog, my mom. I don't think I'd do very well at all," she stated.

Other members of the cast like Dexter Darden who plays Frypan and Alex Flores as Winston says "No" to surviving in The Scorch while Giancarlo Esposito who portrays Jorge exclaims a loud-and-proud "Yes."

The Scorch Trials may sound very exciting, as it most probably is for those who already read the second book of the same title in James Dashner's Maze Runner series, but reviewers are not very impressed.

In fact, Max Nicholson of IGN says he was "pretty lukewarm" to the first movie which he dubbed as the "escape" film.

"The story is much lighter this time out, but Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials nevertheless improves upon the first movie..." the review explained, adding that the film still cannot compare to other young adult fiction adapted into the big screen such as Divergent and The Hunger Games.
