Song lyrics can say so much, after all, isn't music a form of self-expression? And it seems Demi Lovato's self-expression has made waves about her sexual orientation.

Her latest single, "Cool For The Summer" has opened a lot of speculation about her sexuality, and she seems keen on keeping people guessing. As the Huffington Post pointed out, her lyrics are somewhat intriguing, specifically the following lines: "Tell me what you want, what you like, it's OK / I'm a little curious, too" and "Got a taste for the cherry / I just need to take a bite."

In a recent interview on "Alan Carr: Chatty Man", Lovato was pressed about the lyrics, specifically, whether or not she's lesbian. "I'm not confirming and I'm definitely not denying. All of my songs are based on personal experiences. I don't think there's anything wrong with experimentation at all," she shared.

Carr, who is openly gay, shot back at her, "I experimented once and it stuck," to which she responded coyly, "Hey, I didn't say it didn't stick either."

While it's the first time that the former Disney star spoke out about her sexuality, it has been noted that she's been a supporter of the LGBT community for a while now, even speaking out with the Human Rights Campaign to help advocate for marriage equality rights.

People Magazine then noted that her conversation with Carr, however, moved on to the cover of her new album, "Confident", which she shared with her fans on Instagram. The album is due out on October 16, featured the celebrity in a detailed black top with a see-through underpants. While chatting, Lovato revealed that she experienced wardrobe malfunction at the shoot.

"Those underpants are actually like lingerie bottoms, and so they were a bit see-through and it was a little scandalous. Let's just say it wasn't the most comfortable experience picking out your album cover with your manager," she shared.

Lovato's "Cool For The Summer", according to Headline Planet, is making waves on the radio as it recently hit the 600,000 US sales mark during its September 4-10 tracking week. Nielsen Music, which tracks these numbers, noted that in a recently concluded week, "Cool" sold over 48,600 downloads, bringing its cumulative total to 615, 338.

This is a good feat for Lovato considering that this put her in the same ranks as Taylor Swift's "Wildest Dreams" video. However, do you think the lyrics reveal her bisexuality or not?
