In a Google+ post, OnePlus has given the public a taste of what more they can expect on the recently released installment.

NDTV Gadgets said the teaser hints that the OnePlus 2 handset may be also come with "a new leather material StyleSwap back cover."

The photo posted also had the tagline "A bit of welcome luxury" which was accompanied by a post that read "Something luxurious is coming to OnePlus. What could it be?"

According to Express, this could also refer to a new handset to be introduced by the mobile developer since OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei has confirmed the release of another phone after the OnePlus 2.

The same report said that the teaser came after the company apologized for the delay of delivery and sales of the recently release OnePlus 2 in some countries.

The device reportedly sold for around $330 and came with a 5.5inch IPS 1080p display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

"We messed up the launch of the OnePlus 2. To our fans, sorry. We were equally excited when we saw your excitement around the OnePlus 2," Pei was quoted by Express as saying when he apologised to those who purchase the phone.

The OnePlus co-founder said they know how the users feel since they were made to wait for something that they really wanted.

"We appreciate the trust and support that you have given to a relatively small and unknown company like OnePlus. We know that you are rooting for us and want nothing more than to see us succeed. Therefore, it feels extra terrible to let you down this time around, again," he added.

But for those who have already experienced using the phone, the OnePlus 2 received some great reviews after its release.

Indian Express noted that the phone is "one of the best budget devices in the market at the moment, offering great performance, a super camera and a 64G of storage."

As for performance, the same report detailed that the phone experiences some problems especially when loading bigger apps like games but noted that it comes with a great camera which shoots photos like a pro photojournalist.

Meanwhile, Wired said that the OnePlus 2 is a "good phone" but not a "flagship killer." It highlighted on the good aspects of the handset like its 1080 display and a battery that lasts for a whole day.

"It runs great, as fast and smooth as you'd ever want, but I can't say I'm not worried about the fire inside," added the same report.

More individuals have yet to try the phone because of the delays and their judgment on its performance should still be greatly considered.
