Nokia released a new video touting the link abilities of a Nokia Lumia and Apple device.

Nokia followed the journey of fashion designer Emiisa as she explained her story of being a Nokia Lumia device owner that likes using her MacBook for business.

"It is important for me that my life is in order," says Emissa during the 80-second video uploaded on Dec. 20. "To keep my Lumia and Mac calendars on the same page, I'm signed into Gmail on both my Lumia and Mac. This keeps it all synchronized."

"If I wanted photos from my Lumia camera, I just go straight to SkyDrive to my Mac. I had setup my Lumia to upload all my photos and videos automatically to SkyDrive," the fashion designer added.

Emissa also notes how she syncs music between her Macbook and Lumia device.

The video has been met with mainly positive reviews on YouTube.

"This feels like a breath of fresh air, commented waaaghzag. "Finally Microsoft and Apple, along with a third party, have come together to produce easily integrated software."

"Really responsible," wrote Kevin Carter. "Don't ignore mac users just because they don't or can't use a windows PC."

The Windows Phone website provides users instructions on how to sync their smartphone to another device, whether trying to link music, contacts, photos and videos, calendar, and documents.
