Fan-based site confirms Jon Snow's return to the sixth season of the epic TV series "Game of Thrones" after being spotted filming what was speculated to be one of the show's big battle scenes.
It is undeniable that Jon Snow has captured the hearts and minds of GoT fans considering how much they have done just to determine whether or not their darling character would remain in the hit TV series' cast list.
In fact for the past few months, Snow, who is portrayed by English actor Kit Harington, has maintained a steady stream of rumors and speculations that contain every bit of the fans' hope for his return.
Now, the extremely resourceful "Game of Thrones" fan-based website and news center had gathered what seemed to be enough evidence that Snow is indeed alive and well even after being stabbed during the finale of Season 5.
According to Watchers on the Wall, Harington was present and would be 'participating' in the filming for the entire week.
"Harington has been spotted in Belfast again recently, along with Iwan Rheon, so it's not too shocking Harington is filming Game of Thrones," the site explained.
According to Cinema Blend, those who are updated in the news about Harington and his character would be able to see that HBO had been teasing Snow's return for the past months now considering how he was not included in the GoT merchandise promo in tribute to the 'fallen' characters of the show.
Aside from that, Cinema Blend notes how Harington was spotted while traveling to Belfast where the most of the season 6 episodes are being filmed.
Debate on Snow's fate has continued despite the show's producers and the actor himself confirming that he was indeed dead.
"Quite honestly, I have never been told the future of things in this show, but this is the one time I have. They sat me down and said, "This is how it is." If anything in the future is not like that, then I don't know about it - it's only in David and Dan and George's heads. But I've been told I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm not coming back next season," Harington told Entertainment Weekly in June.
Even GoT Director David Nutter confirmed this in a straight forward manner to The Hollywood Reporter, saying: "Jon Snow is dead."
While those directly involved has already declared Jon Snow's death, fans of George R.R. Martin's book series still believe that anything is possible, considering that death is not necessarily permanent in the world of "A Song of Ice and Fire," Cinema Blend noted.
The only way to confirm anything is to watch the upcoming "Game of Thrones" Season 6 next year.
