As 2013 winds down, it's only inevitable that the technosphere begins looking at all the goodies to come in 2014. One of those — the rumored Samsung Galaxy S5 — has been the recent topic of numerous leaks, and seems to have reared its head again in some benchmark results.

The folks over at AnTuTu, a popular benchmarking tool, recently spotted a SM-G900F in their database (SM-G900F is the rumored model name for the Galaxy S5). The AnTuTu teams state that it is almost certainly a Galaxy S5, and that it is probably an international variant.

While most of the specs listed seem to line up with what we've previously heard about the Galaxy S5, the display resolution causes website SamMobile to speculate that it is probably a prototype not running at full steam. The Galaxy S5 has been tipped to sport an impressive 2650X1440 2K HD display, while the new AnTuTu benchmark is equipped with a 1920X1080p Full HD screen.

Whatever the case may be, if the SM-G900F is indeed the Galaxy S5, then we can expect a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AC processor, 3GB RAM, a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front shooter, and Android 4.4 KitKat for Samsung's next flagship.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is also rumored to release in two variants: a premium model with a metal casing, and a regular version with a plastic shell. Most expect Samsung to release the Galaxy S5 earlier than it has released Galaxy S handsets in the past, sometime during the second half of Q1 2014.
