"Fifty Shades of Grey" fans may have to wait until 2015 to see the highly-anticipated film adaptation of the sexy bestseller, but at least we can take a sneak peak of the movie scenes being filmed in Vancouver, Canada.
On Wednesday, E! News published photos of the movie's stars, Jamie Dornan and Anastasia Steele, filming the bike scene where Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele first fell in love in the erotic novel. In the book, this is the passage where the two are walking down the street while Christian is being playful with Anastasia and teases her with a kiss. After the tease, Steele walks away angrily and almost gets run over by a bike at the crosswalk until Christian pulls her back into safety.
Cameras also captured the costars dancing on the set, apparently to keep warm.
E! also reports that the studio has hired almost 10 undercover police officers to keep everything runing smoothly while shooting. Everyone also has an umbrella and as soon as photographers lift their cameras, they are blocked by the officers and production assistants.
The erotic romance novel "Fifty Shades of Grey" became an international bestseller and has been translated in 52 languages since its release in 2011. So far, the "Fifty Shades" trilogy has sold more than 90 million copies worldwide in e-book and print, making it one of the fastest-selling book series in history.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" will open in cinemas on Valentine's Day weekend in 2015, reports US Weekly.
