Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” was the most popular music video of the year. Since its September release, it’s garnered well over 400 million views. It’s been the focus of Miley scrutiny and criticism. It’s the “Wrecking Ball” music video, enough said. So naturally, there are going to be plenty of imitators and parodies, but one in particular takes the cake. It’s ludicrous, yet oddly symbolic. It’s the ying to Miley’s yang. It’s Chris “Big Black” Boykin’s “Wrecking Ball.”
In the video, Big Black swings across Rob Dyrdek’s warehouse, imitating the topless Miley impeccably. When the chorus drops, Big Black officially starts tearing up the set of “Fantasy Factory.” He may not be sitting atop a massive wrecking ball, but we can all agree that he may be more destructive regardless.
