Fans of "The Big Bang Theory" are in for some wonderful news as a recent report reveals some much-awaited answers in season 9 to the cliffhangers of the show's past season.

According to show spoiler center TV Line, TBBT's longtime on-off couple Penny and Leonard would be a web during the season 9 premiere.

This spoiler, says the outlet, came directly from the Big Bang showrunner Steve Molaro who further explains that marriage is only the beginning of their story.

"That's really only the beginning of the story. As fun and as great as it is to see them get married, that's only part of it," he warns.

This warning seems to be just right considering how another spoiler revealed that a new cast member would be playing a significant role in the couple's love story: a third party.

For those who missed it, the new cast member we are referring to is Melissa Tang, popularly known as Suzanne Taylor on "Mom."

A past report from TV Line revealed what the actress would be incorporating in the top-rated show, saying that she would be playing "Leonard's other woman."

According to the report, Tang would be introduced in the show during season 9's second episode as Mandy, the woman Leonard kissed during his North Sea expedition.

This 'indiscretion,' says the outlet, is something Leonard revealed to Penny before they say their "I do's" in Sin City featured during the show's season 8 finale.

While this revelation is a big enough reason to derail the couple's plans of elopement, Molaro's revelation seem to soften speculations that the Leonard and Penny's long waited wedding is postponed yet again.

"We're nine years in and we want to keep things moving forward, as well as exciting and scary and fun," he told TV Line, adding that it is the right time for the on-screen couple to take the plunge after getting engaged several times during past seasons.

"And I think this a great way to do it. Penny has had commitment issues for years and years now, especially when it comes to Leonard and even she feels, 'How much longer are we going to go back and forth on this? Let's just jump in and hope for the best,'" he added.

Aside from Penny and Leonard's marriage, the show's new season is also expected to be dedicated to the upcoming Star Wars film since the show's male characters are "obsessed" with the intergalactic franchise.

The highly-anticipated "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 premiere is set to air on September 21, Monday.
