Shakira and her five-months-old son landed in Brazil Friday to be closer to boyfriend Gerard Piqué, who is playing the Confederations Cup with the Spanish National Team.

For the long-awaited reunion, the singer has spared no expense and has booked the Presidential suite at the prestigious Fasano Hotel, one of the most expensive hotels in Río de Janeiro.

After completing her judging duties on season 4 of "The Voice," the 36-year-old superstar packed her bags to watch the nine days of competition remaining in the Copa Confederaciones.

The singer - who only signed up for one season of "The Voice" after judge Christina Aguilera took a break -  was seen holding her baby close as she made her way through Rio de Janeiro airport on Thursday to join boyfriend Gerard Piqué. The "She-Wolf" singer was glowing as she pulled her son through the airport in a stroller, surrounded by bodyguards.

Although she won't be able to see her baby daddy as much as she would hope, as players are obliged to focus on the hotel with their teammates all the time, sure Shakira and Milan will manage to spent some time with the FC Barcelona star. Piqué recently said it was very frustrating to be near his family and not be able to see them.

The "Hips Don't Lie" singer originally decided to take a break from "The Voice" for next season to spend more time with her family and son and also to focus on the recording process of her new album.

"I'm not going to be able to do next season because I have to get back to my motherhood and also get back to the studio, the recording studio, to finish my album, the one that I started working on before I had to deliver a baby and before I took this gig with The Voice", she told US Magazine of her decision to leave the show after just one season.

However, it appears Shakira changed her mind, as the Huffington Post reports, with Shakira announcing via facebook with baby Milan that she would return for the show's sixth season.
