For those who were rooting for Delena -- well, that's not happening on "The Vampire Diaries" soon, with Nina Dobrev's Elena stuck in a casket for the foreseeable future. For those rooting for Delena in real life, that's not happening either, because Ian Somerhalder tied the knot with "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed back in April and details are finally here.

To start off, according to the Los Angeles Times, the couple wed in Topanga Canyon to surprise their family and friends who thought they were going to a housewarming party. As previously reported, the couple shuttled their guests to their wedding spot and they tied the knot at the Tuscali Mountain Inn in Topanga, California. Among celebrity friends in attendance are Somerhalder's "The Vampire Diaries" co-stars Kat Graham, Paul Wesley and Matt Davis. Also in attendance was former TVD Actress Phoebe Tonkin (who now stars in the series spinoff "The Originals").

In an interview with Brides Magazine, Nikki shared, "We really wanted our wedding to be small, intimate, and about the two of us. We didn't want our loved ones to show up with any expectations or squeezed into formal attire." She also said that for that, they opted for "a Louisiana backyard-barbecue fee, with food stations and a dance floor."

The 27-year-old actress said that their wedding celebration was "really all about the food, the dancing and the love."

A wedding is a wedding though intimate, is nothing short of magical. The professional photographs of the couple were taken by Glass Jar Photography and will appear exclusively for Bride Magazine's October/November 2015 issue.

Reed is wearing a lace Claire Pettibone dress with a boho-chic bouquet of roses, peonies, and wildflowers. She gushed about her dress, "Claire was an absolute dream to work with. Not only is she an amazing designer, but she has the most wonderful energy. We were on the same page from the moment we met."

The cake is a three-tiered red velvet confection from Vanilla Bake Shop, decorated with soft white buttercream frosting and topped with golden lovebirds. According to US Magazine, the cake is also a nod to Somerhalder's Southern roots.

For music, the stars recruited Ellis Hall to perform live at the event, who the couple agreed is the perfect performer to serenade them on their big night. Reed said, "Ellis Hall sang the night away. Live music is so important to us, and we couldn't imagine anyone but Ellis there with us."
