Much has been said about Apple's highly anticipated mobile device, the iPhone 7. Speculations have plagued the Internet as to what specs and features the smartphone will possess. Just recently, a report claimed that the iPhone 7 will have a ceramic and liquidmetal body.

According to a report from Feng translated by GameZone, Apple has signed patents for ceramic and liquidmetal, prompting speculations that the tech giant's next handset will be made out of the materials. Apple utilized plastic, glass, and most recently, metal, for their smartphones in the past.

This decision is most likely caused by last year's iPhone 6 bendgate controversy. Users have complained about the phones bending in their back pockets under body weight, GameZone noted.

IPhone 7 Specs

Apple's iPhone 7 is said to be equipped with Force Touch technology, Know Your Mobile wrote.

Force Touch technology is already being utilized on the latest MacBook and in the Apple Watch, the news outlet added. Aside from recognizing touches and taps, the feature also senses force, delivering new possibilities in using the screen, Daily Mail reported.

"It uses tiny electrodes around the Retina display on the Watch to distinguish between a light tap and a deep press, and triggers instant access to a range of controls," Daily Mail wrote.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the iPhone 7's screen sizes will remain at 4.7 and 5.5 inches, with resolution the same as its predecessors, Know Your Mobile added. An additional casing color - the rose gold -- will be introduced as well, which the Apple Watch already has.

Kuo also predicted that the iPhone 7 will likely have a 12MP pixel upgrade, an improvement over the 8MP of Apple's past mobile devices, the news outlet noted. Other specs included are A9 processor, 2GB LPDDR4 RAM, improved recognition rate of the Touch ID, a sapphire cover lens, and another microphone added near the speaker to enhance audio quality.

Gesture control support is said to be included as well, a feature that allows "a gesture pattern to do something on the device itself," Know Your Mobile wrote.

"For example, a tilt gesture would allow you to tilt the iPhone to scroll through a web page without needing to touch the screen," the news outlet explained.

IPhone Release Date & Price

Expert Reviews believes that the iPhone will be released in Sept. 2016, with the price starting at $820.

Remember that these are all rumors for now and Apple is yet to issue an official announcement.
