Following on the heels of two other major carriers, and once again beating Verizon to the punch, AT&T released Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Tuesday, bringing Galaxy Gear support to the phablet.

According to the official Samsung support page, the upgrade will increase the Baseband version number to I317UCUBMK6 and should be rolling out over the air. Like all Android update releases, not every Galaxy Note 2 on AT&T's network will immediately receive a download notification, although it shouldn't be long before most users do.

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is quite a substantial one for the Galaxy Note 2 given the fact that the handset has been running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for quite some time now. On top of the usual security and performance enhancements, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean also brings Bluetooth 4.0 LE support, allowing the Galaxy Note 2 to fully connect and interact with Samsung's Galaxy Gear smartwatch.

According to Samsung, the update also includes several new Premium Suite features such as PEN.UP, Group Play 2.5, the Galaxy Note 3's Multi-Window, group messaging, Samsung Link, new Easy Mode, and some more Samsung apps. AT&T Galaxy Note 2 owners will also find a new camera app as well as Samsung's KNOX enterprise security software.

U.S. carriers Sprint, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular have all also released Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Only Verizon remains (big surprise there), and at the moment it is unclear when Big Red plans on pushing out the update.

Let us know if you've had a chance to download Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and of any new problems that arise as a result in the comments section below.
