Vine app users don't have to worry about losing video clips. An update has been provided for Windows Phone 8 devices.

As seen on the Windows Phone Store, the Vine app now allows users to switch tasks without losing their created video clips in its draft mode.

Previously, Vine app users with a Windows Phone device would lose their work if they switched to another app.

The app update allows users to save the video and finish it later. The app, however, does not come equipped with post-editing options as seen with Android and iOS versions.

"This means that you no longer have to worry about creating your 6-second masterpiece all in one go," noted Phone Arena. "Instead, you can back out of a video that is in-progress, and still save it for later. This is especially helpful if you want to do any scene changes or costume changes while in the middle of shooting."

The latest Vine app update, labeled as Version 1.1.0.0, requires 11MB of memory.

The app comes as Windows Phone owners commented that the app needed fixes.

Clayton wrote on the Windows Phone Store, "I love vine but this is getting ridiculous, every time I get on the videos take forever to load than after watching 3-4 videos it restarts my Nokia Lumia 521 fix this bug NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Great app for iPhone, but my Windows phone crashes almost every time. I had no problems with this app on my iPhone," wrote an unnamed User. "On the Windows phone the videos freeze, and the videos off screen will play, but not the one on screen. This needs to be fixed. I can't keep having my phone turned off and rebooting every time or I'll just delete the app. Seriously losing my patience."

"Videos don't play. Sometimes when I record the audio cuts out. Can't tag people," shared Brendan. "Other than that I'm pretty excited to see this app come to Windows Phone since the app store sucks on this OS."
