A lot of things seem to be going on in the Facebook headquarters lately.

First, Facebook Inc. has been under fire lately for failing to prevent unauthorized videos being posted on the social media networking site. According to the Wall Street Journal, web-video creators have complained that their videos were being posted without their permission, which leads to the company's interest in making it easier to protect content, especially when videos go viral.

In line with this, the social networking company is introducing a video-matching technology product that he's designed to identify videos that are already duplicates of existing ones uploaded directly by their creators.

In a blog post, Facebook said that they are working with a group of video creators, including multi-channel network Fullscreen, which has been very critical of Facebook on the issue.

The company said in its post, "This technology is tailored to our platform, and will allow these creators to identify matches of their videos on Facebook across pages, profiles, groups, and geographies."

It went on to say, "Our matching tool will evaluate millions of video uploads quickly and accurately, and when matches are surfaced, publishers will be able to report them to us for removal."

Then, there's also "M", the virtual assistant that now lives in Messenger, as unveiled by the company this week. The conversational assistant is set on doing anything from telling jokes to ordering concert tickets, as noted by The Next Web. However, it is still in its Beta stage and not available for everyone yet. There isn't much that Facebook has said about the virtual assistant, either, although more news and updates should be expected as it nears its release date.

Finally, there's Rabbit TV. According to USA Today, the streaming video service is hopping on to facebook with a new Rabbit TV Lite app, which gives Facebook users access to over 400 channels -- live and on-demand -- all browsable in an interactive grid.

While shows like "Game of Thrones" or "The Walking Dead" are not up on Rabbit, you can still get a lot from it, such as "Mister Roger's Neighborhood."

Rabbit TV CEO Bill Mobley said, "The TV set is no longer the sole destination for consumers to watch a video. Facebook is just one new place where consumers are going for the video, and with this app, we hope to be one of the first major players there."
